About the night

An ACOTAR 6 book launch party for readers who wanted more than a midnight queue

ACOTAR 6 releases at midnight on 26 October 2026, and nobody should collect it under supermarket lighting. Instead, descend into the Starlight Vaults: a moody underground cellar transformed into a dark, cosy and elite corner of the Night Court, right in the heart of Ware, Hertfordshire, within easy reach of London and the South East.

The evening runs from 19:30 with a welcome cocktail, a high-stakes fandom trivia tournament, Suriel readings in a velvet-draped alcove, a Star-Dust embellishment station for your books and Kindle, a boutique themed market, a best-dressed runway and a live DJ. Then, at midnight exactly, ticket holders collect a pristine, spoiler-free ACOTAR 6 hardback before anyone else.

This is an independent, unofficial fan event organised by TKTK Events. We are readers first, and this is the launch night we always wished existed. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the author or publisher.

The night, hour by hour

  1. The wards open

    Arrive, collect your keepsake tote and shimmering welcome cocktail (or prosecco), and settle into the vaults. Photo moments open from the start of the night.

  2. High-stakes trivia tournament

    Teams battle through rounds spanning the whole series. Prizes for the winners, sympathy for everyone who mixes up their courts.

  3. Star-Dust Station & Suriel readings

    Bedazzle your Kindle or add metallic library stamps at the embellishment bar, take a personal reading in the velvet alcove, and browse the boutique market for themed apparel and candles.

  4. Silk & Glamour runway

    The best-dressed showcase. Posh pyjamas, Night Court tulle, Illyrian leathers and full court glamour all welcome on the catwalk.

  5. The countdown begins

    Live DJ, final photo calls, last drinks orders and the build-up to the moment everyone came for.

  6. Midnight. ACOTAR 6 is yours

    The book officially releases and ticket holders collect their guaranteed pristine copies first. Stay for a toast, or race home to start chapter one.

Dress code: silk, slouch & high-fairy glamour

You are collecting a massive fantasy hardback at midnight, so comfort is key, but make it high-end. Posh pyjamas, velvet robes, silk loungewear or full court cosplay. There is a best-dressed showcase, so this is your excuse.

Getting there and parking

The Saracens Head sits at Bridge Foot in the centre of Ware, a short walk from Ware station with direct trains from London Liverpool Street. Free off-street parking is available for patrons: simply register your vehicle on the tablet inside the pub when you arrive to avoid a charge. While the venue's car park completes its recent refurbishment, the Kibes Lane and Baldock Street public car parks are both a short walk away.

Age and accessibility

This is an 18+ only event, in line with the venue's licensing and the sale of alcohol. The venue is a cellar space, so contact us before booking if you have an access requirement and we will do everything we can to help.

Spoiler policy

Nobody gets the book before midnight, including us. The whole night is spoiler-safe by design, so you can enjoy it without hiding from the internet.

Refunds

Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event through Eventbrite. If we cancel or reschedule, you receive a full refund. If the publisher moves the release date, your ticket transfers to the new night.

What if the release date changes?

I've never painted before. Will I embarrass myself?

Not a chance. Every session is designed for complete beginners and guided step by step. Half the fun is seeing how differently a room full of people paint the same picture, and yours will be better than you expect.

What should I bring?

Just yourself. Canvas, easel, paints and brushes are all provided, along with a full-cover body suit so your outfit survives even your most enthusiastic brushwork. Your finished painting comes home with you the same night.

How much does it cost?

Public sessions start from £60 per person, with everything included. Private sessions start from £250 for a group of five; get in touch and we'll build the session around your occasion.

Is prosecco included?

Yes. At our classic Sip & Paint nights and Uncork & Unleash sessions, the prosecco flows for the whole evening, with soft drinks always available. Unwind & Unleash is our alcohol-free session with teas and soft drinks, and family sessions are alcohol-free too.

What's the zodiac guide?

Every guest receives a personalised zodiac guide: colour palettes and creative prompts inspired by your star sign, woven into the session so no two paintings in the room ever come out the same.

Can you come to my house for a private session?

Yes. We bring the full set-up, including body suits, prosecco and your host, to your home or chosen venue anywhere in Hertfordshire and North London. You supply the guests, we supply everything else.
